Nancy Carhart
Nancyhas been the Director of the Agape' Child Care Center since 1989, shortly after Agape' first opened its doors in serving the families of West Milford and the surrounding communities.
For the past eighteen years, Nancy has developed a strong team of teachers and care givers.As a result, Agape' has a dedicated group of staff and low staff turnover.
Nancy has a passion to partner with parents and caregivers in providing the best possible care for children's emotional, social, cognitive, physical and spiritual growth.
Her philosophy and therefore, the Center's philosophy, is "Children First."All decisions, programs, teachings, facility and playground design are made based on the answer to the question - "What is BEST for the children?"
Nancy's hobbies include reading, bike riding, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband, Ted, have two grown children.
Sandi Boes
Sandi Boes has been the Agapé Head Teacher for the past 6 years, specializing as our PreK Teacher. Prior to teaching at Agape' Sandi taught Kindergarten for a year and PreSchool for four years at Hoffman-LaRocheChildCareCenter.
Sandi has a BA in Early Childhood Education (PreK-8) with a specialty degree in PreK/Kindergarten.Sandi continues to increase her skills as a teacher through yearly training courses. She is certified in CPR and First Aid.
Her greatest joy is preparing PreK children for Kindergarten each year.She also coordinates a very exciting, creative and fun graduation program every year for her students and their families.
Sandi loves to read and to do cross word puzzles.She and her husband, Bill, have two boys, ages 14 and 11.
Lil Doviak
Lil Doviak is the Agape' Kindergarten Enrichment teacher. She is CDA Credentialed and has been with Agapé for 11 years. She attends training courses throughout the year to enhance and further develop her already flourishing skills as a teacher. Lil is also certified in both CPR and First Aid.
Lil's Kindergarten Enrichment is theme based and includes themes such as Space, Kindergarten Café, Medieval Times and Bubbles.Throughout the themes, children participate in hands on experience - whether it is building a space ship for Blast Off, dressing as chefs and cooking, or building a castle, children learn to work together with others, while developing in their acedemic and creative skills.In Lil's class children experience learning as FUN!
Lil is committed to creating a loving, caring and supportive atmosphere for the children to feel comfortable, safe and enjoy learning and developing new friendships.
Lil enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, crafts and relaxing on the beach.She and her husband, Joe, have a twenty one year old son.
MaryBeth Sadosky
Mary Beth Sadosky has been part of the Agapé team for 10 years. She is both a Daycare Teacher and Assistant Teacher for the Pre-K class.Mary Beth attends training classes throughout the year to learn new techniques to gain further understanding of Early Childhood Development.She also has her certification in both CPR and First Aid.
MaryBeth enjoys working and interacting with children as she finds them amazing in all they do and say.Her goal at Agape' is to be a part of making a child's day a positive and happy experience.
MaryBeth loves to spend time with family and friends, shopping and vacationing.She and her husband, Garry, have two young adult daughters, Jennifer and Erica.
